About this game

Sumo.io is a free, fast-paced arena brawler where the only goal is to push everyone else into the water. You and nine rivals start on a round wooden platform. After a few seconds it begins to shrink, forcing everyone closer together until only one fighter is left standing. The controls are simple, but the fights are full of surprises. Slide around with a bit of momentum, bump into rivals to knock them back and time your dash to ram them right off the edge. Big dashes send fighters flying, so be careful not to charge straight off the platform yourself! Grab the power-ups that appear in the ring: a speed boost to out-run the crowd, or a heavy shield that makes you bigger and much harder to push. Rounds only last about half a minute, so there is always time for one more. Win a round or shove off rivals to earn coins, then spend them in the shop on funny hats and colorful belts. A live preview shows exactly how your fighter will look before you buy. If you get knocked out, you can optionally watch a short ad to jump back into the round or to double the coins you just earned. Play on desktop with the mouse or keyboard, or on your phone in landscape mode with a simple touch joystick and a big dash button. No sign-up needed. Pick a nickname and start shoving!
